Want to build a career in
construction but need some help
getting started?

Then don’t miss this opportunity to attend the course that will give you the skills,
knowledge and qualification needed to secure employment.
Construct your Career is a free 8-week training programme which gives you the
chance to gain skills and work experience.
You will receive:
• a City&Guilds Multi-Skills level 1 qualification
• a Construction Skills health and safety certificate
• a CSCS card – essential for working in construction
• travel expenses and lunch each day
• free safety boots and equipment
• help to find work

The course is starting soon so you’ll
need to register your interest by
24th January 2017.
You need to be:
• at least 18 years of age;
• unemployed;
• have the right to work in the UK
• resident of east London (priority
will be given to residents of
Barking and Dagenham)

What we need from you:
We need you to be committed and
serious about getting back into work.
Attending the course won’t affect your
benefits as you will be at college for just
16 hours per week.
The course runs from 6th February
2017 to 31st March 2017, so you’ll
need to be available during that time.
The course will be provided at the
Building Crafts College in Stratford.

What happens next?
You’ll need to be available on
31st January 2017 because that’s when
we’ll be holding our information session
to explain the course, meet with you in
person, and select our participants.
And don’t forget to register your interest
by 24th January 2017.
