Community Development Officer
We are currently recruiting for a community development officer to join our refurbishment business. The role will act as a key point of contact for clients and residents to ensure we achieve our object of leaving a lasting legacy on every project.
You will work with residents to ensure we meet our commitments under the social value act. This will be done by training, coaching and empowering people. You will be innovative in your approach to achieving these by leveraging our relationship with our subcontracts, working in partnership with local networks and stakeholder as well as charities and schools, engaging our existing staff or delivering some training yourself.
Due to the geographical locations of our projects the role will involve some travel and also sometimes working evenings. Our head offices are based in Swanley, Kent the role holder will need to travel here for meetings and training.
You will have excellent people skills being able to communicate and engage people at all levels.
You will have a passion for the positive impact of social value and community activity.
You will need to have a full UK driving license.
Excellent relationship building skills.

In South London we are working with Moat to deliver a £35 million regeneration and development scheme which will see the refurbishment of more than 400 homes and the building of 112 more. In Hull we are working with Pickering and Ferens Homes to build extra care homes for the older generation and in the Midlands we are building 139 homes for rent in the centre of Milton Keynes.
